Our 2025/26 Season Concludes at the Mini-Interpoules

After a long, competitive, and hard-fought season, Chamba Sports Academy’s journey for the 2025/26 campaign came to an end last week with a 2–4 loss against Olympic of Bertoua in the semi-finals of the Regional Mini-Interpoules Tournament. The match, played at the Bertoua Municipal Stadium, was an intense and emotional contest that determined which team would qualify for the National Interpoules Competition.

Despite giving their best, our players and staff could not secure the victory that would have sent us to the regional finals. Olympic of Bertoua will now face AS Toung in the final, with the winner earning the honor of representing the East Region at the national stage.

Although the result was disappointing for our fans and supporters, we remain incredibly proud of our team’s performance and progress throughout the season. The players displayed exceptional resilience, teamwork, and determination across all competitions, including a memorable run in the Cameroon Cup, where we reached the Round of 8 — the best performance by any team from the East Region this year.

The 2025/26 season has been a defining one for Chamba Sports Academy — full of growth, experience, and moments of pride. Our journey may have ended sooner than we hoped, but the lessons learned and the spirit shown by our players have set a strong foundation for the future.

We extend heartfelt appreciation to our coaches, administrative staff, players, and loyal supporters for their unwavering commitment throughout the season. The unity and passion that drive this academy continue to be our greatest strength.

As President Gerald Bobga noted:

“We may not have reached the national Interpoules this time, but our boys played with heart and pride. Every step we took this season brought us closer to our goals. We are proud of their dedication and will come back stronger, more focused, and more determined next season.”

With renewed motivation and the valuable experience gained, Chamba Sports Academy is already preparing for the next campaign — ready to aim higher and go further.
