Nurturing Football Talent, Building Character, and Uplifting Communities Since 2016.

Background

Chamba Sports Academy was founded in 2016 by Gerald Bobga Fonkenmun under the mother organisation Chamba Sports Management — a registered sports association under Cameroon law. The Academy was the first project of the organisation, beginning with just 12 players in the first year.

Since then, we have grown into a football family:
  • 100+ graduates have passed through our academy.
  • 50+ new players enroll each year across different age categories.

Our project combines youth football, community development, and education to build a powerful platform for growth. Chamba Sports Academy is officially recognised by the Cameroon Ministry of Sports and is affiliated with the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

To develop young footballers while empowering them with education, discipline, and community values to build a better future.

To be a leading football academy in Cameroon that nurtures talent, transforms lives, and strengthens communities through sport.
